Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Khanabanao. By accessing our website (https://khanabanao.com/) or booking our catering, wedding, corporate, or private chef services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Bookings & Payments

  • Advance Payment: A booking is only considered confirmed once an advance payment (typically 50% of the total estimated invoice) has been received.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared on the day of the event or as per the specific contractual agreement (especially for corporate clients).
  • Guest Count: Final guest counts must be confirmed at least 48 hours prior to the event. Invoices will be generated based on the guaranteed guest count or the actual number of attendees, whichever is higher.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the advance payment.
  • Cancellations made within 3 to 6 days prior to the event will incur a 50% deduction of the advance payment.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are strictly non-refundable, as ingredient sourcing and staff booking will have already been finalized.

3. Client Responsibilities

For services requiring our chefs to cook at your venue or home:

  • The client must ensure a safe, hygienic working environment.
  • The venue must have basic necessities including running water, electricity, and adequate space for the chef and staff to operate safely.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw our staff if the working conditions are deemed unsafe or unsanitary upon arrival.

4. Ingredient Sourcing & Quality

  • Khanabanao Supplied: When we supply the ingredients, we guarantee the use of fresh, high-quality, and food-safe items.
  • Client Supplied: If the client chooses to supply their own ingredients (applicable to some private chef packages), Khanabanao is not liable for the taste, quality, or food safety issues arising from those specific ingredients.

5. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

It is the sole responsibility of the client to inform us of any severe food allergies (e.g., nuts, shellfish, dairy) or dietary restrictions in writing before finalizing the menu. While we take the utmost care to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchens handle a variety of allergens, and we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.

6. Liability & Damages

Khanabanao and its staff will exercise the utmost care while working at your venue. However, we hold limited liability for any accidental damages to kitchen equipment, crockery, or property during the normal course of cooking and serving. Khanabanao is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hassan, Karnataka.
